NORRLAND is built on the craftsmanship of Hjalle Torell, a cabinetmaker trained in northern Sweden. His early grounding in traditional furniture making and precision joinery shaped the meticulous approach he brought to Australia in 1990.
After decades of working across residential and commercial projects, Jalle founded NORRLAND in 2013 to focus on producing high-quality custom joinery and furniture. Today, he designs and builds kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry cabinetry, along with bespoke timber pieces — each created with careful attention to detail, proportion and function.
